The Administrative Manager helps make decisions and supports patient care services around the clock, 24/7.
They organize how patients move through the system, help with communication, and manage emergencies.
They work with the Nurse Manager and staffing office to ensure there are enough staff members for optimal patient care.
The manager also handles all emergency procedures, like HICS, Code Red, Code Blue, and Code Green. They lead efforts to improve the quality of care and support strategic initiatives for excellent patient care. They work with patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adults, and seniors.
**Requirements:**
- Must be a graduate of a nursing program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Required - Must have a BSN/RN and a Bachelor’s degree
- Required - Must have two to five years of recent experience in acute care or a similar clinical area
- Required - Ideally, have two years of leadership or management experience (like being a Charge RN, Unit Shift Coordinator, or Preceptor)
- Required - Must have experience as a house supervisor, admin manager, or in patient placement
- Required - Must have BLS certification (from ARC or AHA) - Required
**Certification Requirements:**
- BLS certification
**State License Requirements:**
- Must be licensed in Minnesota
