As part of a team that works together, the PCU Registered Nurse (RN) takes care of patients.
The RN also assigns tasks to others when needed and helps create a safe place for good nursing care. Using the nursing process, the RN provides safe, caring, and effective treatment, focusing on helping patients get better and stay healthy.
The RN works with patients, their families, and the care team to plan and organize care.
