The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care through the systematic application of the nursing process.
This role necessitates collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to uphold standards for professional nursing practice.
Responsibilities are executed in accordance with hospital policies, the hospital's mission, and the standards of practice established by professional and regulatory guidelines. The Registered Nurse directs, coordinates, and delegates activities to promote patient- and family-centered care.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
- Plan and implement nursing care in alignment with the needs of patients and their families.
- Make appropriate interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
- Assume personal responsibility for the quality of patient care, patient satisfaction, and professional development within the healthcare environment.
**Qualifications:**
- A minimum of three years of experience is required.
- Completion of one travel assignment is required.
- Experience with Paragon EMR is highly preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred

**Certification Requirements:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
**State License Requirements:** - Michigan
