**Job Description**
**What You Will Do**
- Design products like chemical injection units, hydraulic power units, process systems, utility packages, pressure vessels, and structural skid frames.
- Work with a team to create diagrams that show how processes flow, where pipes and instruments go, and how equipment is laid out. You will also make fabrication drawings.
- You must size and choose parts like instruments, control valves, pumps, and do calculations for the systems.
- Create and build different types of packaged equipment, including selecting materials and testing the final products.
- Collaborate with suppliers to get the necessary parts.
- Keep track of project plans, costs, and tasks, and share this information with your team and supervisors.
- Use computer programs (CAD) to create designs and analyze structures for offshore projects, using standards like DNV and API.
- Write specifications for products and decide what raw materials and parts to use based on customer needs and industry standards.
- Review P&ID diagrams, layout drawings, and fabrication drawings for making skid units and modules.
- Provide technical support to the production team while they build and test the machines.
- Communicate regularly with customers and create user manuals.
- Test skid packages and equipment with team members and customers to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Stay in touch with customers regarding project needs and design reviews.
- Help troubleshoot any issues during the assembly and testing phases.

- **Knowledge of Offshore Equipment Standards:** Familiarity with offshore design standards is required.
- **Understanding of Industry Standards:** Knowledge of standards such as DNV 2.7-1/3, API RP 2A, and AISC is helpful.
- **Ability to Read P&IDs and PFDs:** You should understand the symbols used in diagrams.
- **Sizing Valves:** You should know how to size pressure relief valves and hydraulic accumulators according to standards.
- **Piping Standards:** Familiarity with piping standards like ASME B31.3 is needed.
- **Hazardous Area Classifications:** An understanding of classifications such as NEC, ATEX, and IECEX is important.
**Education and Experience Required**
- At least 5 years of experience working with skid-mounted equipment in a manufacturing environment. This includes structural design, selecting system components, and writing technical documents.
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Industrial Engineering is required.
- Experience with electrical equipment like switchgears and MCCs is preferred.
- Knowledge in power distribution and managing Capital projects is a plus.
