A Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and execution of construction projects, guiding them from inception through to completion. 

This role encompasses ensuring the alignment of the project with the client’s specifications and functional requirements, ultimately delivering a successful outcome.

The Sr. PM is responsible for the bidding process, which includes distributing bid documents, responding to inquiries from potential bidders, and issuing addenda to clarify crucial project details. 

Upon receiving bids, the Sr. PM conducts a meticulous evaluation of the proposals and leads a negotiation phase with the selected contractor prior to finalizing the contract.

During the construction phase, a Sr. PM must possess an in-depth knowledge of the various trades, techniques, and equipment involved in the project while being adept at identifying and preempting potential issues.

 Change orders—arising from design errors, adverse weather, or unforeseen circumstances such as the non-availability of materials—must be managed judiciously. The Sr. PM is responsible for resolving contract disputes that may result from such changes.

Essentially, the Sr. PM orchestrates the construction project, ensuring effective coordination and quality control throughout. Key responsibilities include supervising operations on-site, confirming adherence to design specifications, monitoring workforce implementation, and reporting progress to stakeholders, including clients and the general public.

 The Sr. PM bears responsibility for any incidents at the construction site and is accountable for timely project delivery within established guidelines, particularly in commercial contexts.

**Key Duties of a Senior Project Manager:**

- Develop plans and coordinate all phases of the construction project.

- Oversee the entirety of the construction project or segments thereof.

- Schedule and align various design processes throughout construction. - Identify, hire, and supervise contractors.

- Manage the workforce and supervisorial staff on-site.

- Ensure project completion adheres to specified timelines.

- Source optimal construction materials.

- Create estimates and timelines for project completion.

- Select and evaluate performance of trade and general contractors.

- Monitor construction timelines and ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Direct material delivery and deployment of tools and equipment.

- Ensure efficient use of construction resources.

- Enforce safety protocols among construction personnel.

- Secure required licenses and permits.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

- Implement health and safety project plans effectively.

- Maintain a constant presence on-site to oversee construction developments.

- Maintain budget adherence concerning material procurement and labor costs.

- Organize and manage workforce output. - Document total costs for materials and payments for completed work.

- Conduct general inspections of worker performance and safety practices.

- Liaise with government inspectors regarding licensing and safety compliance.

- Follow the construction processes meticulously to ensure on-time project completion.

- Supervise subcontractors to ensure punctuality and delivery standards.

- Uphold quality assurance in the construction process while maintaining budget integrity.

- Document project progression in collaboration with the foreman.

**Qualifications:**

- A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience managing commercial electrical construction projects with a minimum valuation of $20M per project.

- Background in large-scale commercial electrical undertakings, particularly data centers, is advantageous.

- Demonstrated ability to manage field teams and coordinate extensive construction efforts.

- Proficiency in Procore (intermediate), Bluebeam (advanced), Excel (proficient), and Accubid (basic).

**Additional Requirement:**

- Willingness and ability to relocate to Texas.
