We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our Taxation practice, with a focus on delivering sophisticated tax planning and advisory services tailored for entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses.

In this leadership role, you will oversee tax engagements that encompass both corporate and personal tax, collaborating closely with business owners to formulate tax-efficient strategies that align with their overarching financial objectives. 

Your responsibilities will include advising on matters such as corporate structuring, succession planning, owner-manager compensation strategies, and various tax optimization initiatives.

You will be tasked with reviewing intricate tax returns, conducting thorough tax research, and providing practical, actionable recommendations to both clients and internal teams. 

A robust technical foundation in Canadian income tax is essential, along with the capacity to interpret and apply evolving tax legislation to complex client scenarios.

Your role will involve close collaboration with partners, legal advisors, and other stakeholders, serving as a pivotal point of contact for clients while fostering long-term relationships. 

Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing staff, leading internal training initiatives, and actively contributing to the strategic growth and direction of the tax practice.

This position demands a high level of technical acumen and an advisory mindset, making it ideal for a tax professional who thrives on problem-solving, research, and direct engagement with business owners on complex tax issues.

**Qualifications:** - Canadian CPA designation is mandatory.

- Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Program is required. - 8–10+ years of public accounting tax experience with a strong focus on corporate and personal tax planning.

- Experience with owner-managed businesses is essential.

- In-depth knowledge of Canadian income tax legislation.

- Proven expertise in advanced tax research and technical writing.

- Experience in reviewing intricate tax returns.

- Strong client advisory and relationship management skills.

- Familiarity with working alongside lawyers and external advisors.

- Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities.

- Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines.
