A leading healthcare facility is seeking an outstanding Sonographer to join a dedicated team of professionals focused on providing excellent care for patients. This position emphasizes teamwork and creating a compassionate environment for both staff and patients.

**Job Overview:**

As a Staff Sonographer, you will perform a range of important imaging procedures using ultrasound technology, which relies on high-frequency sound waves to create images of the body.

Ultrasound exams can be challenging due to the presence of certain tissues and materials, such as gas in the intestines or bones, which can interfere with the images. This means that each ultrasound requires a personalized approach where the Sonographer must skillfully adjust the equipment, find the best positions to capture clear images, and have the knowledge to identify any abnormalities or areas of concern during the examination.

The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound tests and collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

**Schedule:**

- Sunday: 9 PM - 7 AM - Monday to Wednesday: 8 PM - 6 AM

While it's not a current requirement, you may be asked to be available for on-call duties in the future if necessary.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, Radiologic Technology program, or a related two-year health program

- Must hold ARDMS certification with a focus on Abdomen (ABD) or Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)

- At least two years of paid experience performing ultrasounds
