**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

1. Log in for self-dispatching or contact the dispatch department for initial case load information.
2. Arrive at the first case at the beginning of the assigned shift or leave home at least thirty (30) minutes in advance.
3. Unload portable sonographic equipment and conduct examinations as ordered by the physician, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically proficient images are obtained.
4. Perform ultrasounds using portable equipment and digitally transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
5. Check voicemails from client facilities after each case or at least every thirty (30) minutes.
6. Utilize the self-dispatching system for available cases and communicate with the on-duty dispatcher every thirty (30) minutes.
7. Wear the company uniform and name tag in compliance with the dress code.
8. Carry the company-provided mobile device and respond to urgent communications within fifteen (15) minutes.
9. Attend required meetings.
10. Verify all exam orders against the patient’s chart upon arrival at the facility. If discrepancies exist, do not conduct the exam until appropriate orders are documented.
11. Confirm patient identity by requesting two identifiers (e.g., name and date of birth); if the patient is unable to identify themselves, the nurse in charge must provide identification.
12. Facility staff are responsible for patient transfers and support; technologists shall not engage in these activities.
13. Scan exam-related paperwork and billing daily per protocol.
14. Communicate effectively and maintain professionalism with all stakeholders.
15. Maintain the vehicle and sonographic equipment properly.
16. Uphold a high standard of medical ethics and pursue ongoing knowledge in the field.
17. Responsible for payment of all motor vehicle citations while using company vehicles.
18. Adhere to the drug-free workplace policy and report any criminal background changes as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
19. Conduct oneself in accordance with the organization's Code of Conduct.
20. Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
21. Provide training to other technologists as needed.
22. Demonstrate self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
23. Complete drug screening and background checks.
24. Exhibit strong organizational and basic computer skills.
25. Knowledge of applicable regions and travel routes is essential.
26. Maintain a pleasant phone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
27. Applicants must be registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound, requiring General & Vascular registry, as well as AB/OB and Vascular or Echo certification.
28. COVID-19 vaccination is required; exemptions require proper documentation.29. Shift confirmation with the candidate is necessary in the cover page’s additional information section.
30. Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
