The speech and language pathologist helps clients by providing speech therapy services. 

Their main job is to give direct care to patients. 

They work closely with other team members and help create a complete care plan for each patient.

 

**Qualifications:**

- At least 2 years of experience working as a speech and language pathologist in home care.

- A valid driver's license is needed for this job. - Must be able to work alone with little help.

- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred. - A Master's or Doctorate degree is required.

- You must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Clinical Fellow candidates are welcome to apply.

- A Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist license is required.

- Must know how to use rehabilitation tools like communication aids and wheelchairs.

- If you travel for this job, you must have your own vehicle. This requirement is strict.

 

**Certification Requirements:**

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

- You must have a state license for Massachusetts.
