**Job Responsibilities:**

- Screen and help patients who have problems with talking, thinking, or swallowing. Make a care plan that follows rules and standards.
- Use tests and proven methods to guide treatment.
- Check how patients are doing and change treatments as needed. Record this information according to rules.
- Review the results of treatments and make changes based on how well they work. Refer patients to other services if needed.
- Talk and provide support to patients, families, caregivers, and others about speech problems.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members about patient progress and treatment plans.
- Write a complete summary of services provided when patients are discharged, following rules and requirements.
- Keep accurate electronic records of patient treatment and maintain records as per company policy.
- Record the time spent on patient treatment according to rules.
- Join required meetings about patient care, reviews, and rehabilitation.
- Attend required training sessions and conferences.
- Get any necessary equipment or supplies as needed.
- Help and supervise new Speech-Language Pathologists or students in training.
- Follow professional rules and ethics in speech-language practice.
- Hold an active ASHA and State License.

**Qualifications:**
- At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - REQUIRED
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) - REQUIRED
- Missouri State License - REQUIRED
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - REQUIRED
- Preferred: 3 years of experience with active CCC
- One reference needed at the time of submission
- Must apply at the posted pay rate; higher rates will redirect the candidate.

**State License Requirements:**
- Missouri
- Compact License is Allowed.
