**Clinical Nursing Supervisor:
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications**
**Role Overview:**
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring optimal patient care and operational efficiency within the healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitating assistance, guidance, and problem resolution related to patient care and continuity of business operations.
- Proactively communicating issues that could jeopardize patient care to relevant departmental leadership.
- Upholding a safe, effective, and efficient environment for patient care.
- Fostering staff development through collaboration with clinical educators and informatics nurses by engaging in education, informatics, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives, along with professional development activities.
**Qualifications:**

**Education:** Graduate of an accredited nursing school (mandatory).
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is highly preferred. -
**Licensure:** Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse Licensure via Nursys (mandatory). -
**Certifications:** - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred. -
**Experience:**
A minimum of three years of nursing experience (mandatory), with prior experience in a charge nurse or supervisory capacity also required.
**Certification Requirements:** - ACLS - BLS
**State License Requirements:** - New Hampshire license; compact licensure is acceptable.
