**Job Title: Behavioral Health Urgent Care Supervisor**

**Job Summary:**

As the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Supervisor, you will manage urgent services for mental health for both adults and children. Your job will involve helping people who need immediate care by assessing their needs, coordinating support, and referring them to the right services. You will work from Monday to Thursday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

 There is also an option for flexible scheduling.

**Main Responsibilities:**

- Find and train new team members for urgent care.

- Provide support and guidance to your team. - Lead meetings to discuss cases and offer feedback to team members.

- Review team member's performance and help them improve.

- Check clinical records every month. - Show and teach effective ways to engage with clients.

- Work with the team to screen and assess clients, plan their care, and help them with discharge.

**Qualifications:** - 

You need a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling. 

You must also have a LMSW, LLP, or LPC license from Michigan, and it needs to be active and free from issues.

- You should qualify for a Qualified Mental Health Professional, Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional, and a Qualified Child Mental Health Professional credential when you start.

- Within 120 days of starting, you need to get a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential.

- You need to have a CAADC credential or be on a registered plan to get it within six weeks of starting. This plan must be sent to MCBAP within 30 days of starting.

- You need at least three years of experience treating mentally ill children and adults and one year of experience with individuals who have Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities or substance use issues.

- You need to show strong skills in assessing and handling crises calmly and professionally.

- You must be able to work well with clients, their families, coworkers, and community partners.

- You should be able to work on your own and as part of a team.

- Strong writing, speaking, and communication skills are important.

- You must be organized and detail-oriented to track and report information.

- You should have a respectful and culturally sensitive approach when working with clients and their families. **License Requirements:**

- Must have a Michigan license. - Full license required: LMSW, LLP, or LPC.
