**Job Description:**
We are looking for a skilled doctor to join our growing team in the neurosciences program at a hospital that also serves as a Level II Trauma Center.
- You will perform different types of brain and spine surgeries, especially if you have training in neuroendovascular surgeries (a special type of brain surgery). -
You will work in a busy emergency department that sees about 100,000 patients each year.
- You will use modern imaging and tools to help with diagnosis and surgery.
- You will also help patients recover from strokes.
- If you want, you can be involved in teaching and mentoring new doctors.
- You will work in a team-focused environment that values collaboration, new ideas, and putting patients first.
**Qualifications:** -
You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of completing your residency) in Neurological Surgery - THIS IS REQUIRED (no exceptions).
- You need to have an MD or DO degree - THIS IS REQUIRED.
- You should have experience in doing brain and spine surgeries (this must be noted in additional documents) - THIS IS REQUIRED.
- Training or experience in neuroendovascular surgery is highly preferred.
- You must have an active Michigan medical license (or be in the process of getting one)
- THIS IS REQUIRED. - You need to obtain a DEA license (required before starting).
- You also need a CSR/CDS license (required before starting).
**Certification Requirements:**
- Board Certified - Board Eligible
**State License Requirements:**
- Must be licensed in Michigan.
**Additional License Requirements:**
- Preference for those with training in neuroendovascular surgery, board certified, board eligible, and an active Michigan license.
