**Position Overview: APP (Nurse Practitioner Preferred)

**Shift Details:** Standard 8-hour shifts from 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday.
**Assignment Duration:** Approval secured through December 31, 2026.
**Reason for Recruitment:** To fill a critical coverage gap in urology services.

*Start Date:** Immediate; candidates must possess an active Washington state license.
**Provider Classification:** Advanced Practice Clinician (APC), with a preference for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) able to practice autonomously without supervisory oversight.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform annual medication refills.
- Diagnose and manage erectile dysfunction.
- Provide management for kidney stones.
- Treat male incontinence.
- Conduct cystoscopic procedures.
- Assist in surgeries as required.
**Work Environment:**
- **Setting:** Primarily an outpatient clinic with potential inpatient responsibilities if designated as Surgical PA.
- **Inpatient Care:** 122-bed facility.
- **Call Requirement:** No on-call duties.
- **Patient Volume:** Average of 18 patients daily, targeting demographics 17 years and older.
- **Clinical Activity Expectations:** Engage in standard urological practices in outpatient and surgical contexts.
**Privileges and Responsibilities:**
- Surgical PAs may be responsible for hospital rounding and surgical assistance.
- Non-surgical PAs will operate exclusively within the outpatient clinic framework.
**Privileging Requirements:**
- Candidates must submit detailed case logs that reflect clinical activities and align with the requested privileges over the past 24 months.
- Collaborative engagement with MD/DO is expected for PAs; NPs will operate independently.
**Licensing and Certifications:**
- A valid Washington state license is mandatory.
- Required certifications include BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
**Electronic Medical Records:
** Proficiency in the EPIC system is required.
