The Radiologic Technologist operates under the direction of the radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology. This role involves the operation of a Computerized Tomographic scanner to produce images of the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.
**Requirements:**
- Graduation from an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology and registration in at least radiography is required.
- Additional certification in computed tomography is preferred.
- Candidates must possess training and/or experience specific to radiology practices, encompassing neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. A willingness to cross-train in additional imaging modalities is required.
- The applicant must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, practitioners, and visitors. A commitment to teamwork, the capacity to work independently, and effective communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with computer applications is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Meditech Health Information System. Candidates should possess technical aptitude and a willingness to learn software applications.
**Certification Requirements:** - BLS certification is mandatory.
**State License Requirements:** - A license is required for the state of New Hampshire; compact licenses are allowed.
