**Radiology Medical Imaging Tech I
**
Responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging exams for patients across all age groups. Applies principles, theories, and techniques relevant to the modality to ensure reliable test results. Oversees daily operations of patient and department workflow.
**SKILLS AND ABILITIES** - Proficient in using a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position. - Capable of operating relevant office equipment. - Effective in interdepartmental communication and public interactions. - Able to maintain confidentiality and act independently with minimal supervision. - Consistently maintains punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
**EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES** - Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program. -
(in relevant modality). - Current Oregon license or a recent graduate of an approved program holding a valid temporary Oregon permit prior to taking the ARRT registry. Registry must be obtained within one year (in relevant modality). - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. - Completion of the Image Wisely pledge certificate or the requirement to obtain it. - Completion of the Image Gently pledge certificate or the requirement to obtain it. - An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
**VARIOUS MODALITIES:** - Radiologic Technology - Mammography - CT Technology - MRI Technology
**EXPERIENCE** - Preferred experience includes three years in a hospital setting, though new graduates and candidates with less experience will be considered.
**CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS** - ARRT - BLS
