About the Role
Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced Consultants in Oncology for locum assignments across South Wales and other UK regions. This role offers flexible scheduling, varied clinical exposure, and the opportunity to support oncology services within NHS Trusts. Assignments are tailored to your availability and clinical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist oncology care within ward settings.
Support junior doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and service improvement.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to NHS care standards.
Participate in departmental activities as required.

Essential Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Current DBS or PVG check (or willingness to complete one).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Qualifications
CCT in Oncology or within 6 months of completion.
Previous NHS experience in oncology or acute care settings.
