Job Title: Microsoft Support Specialist (Power Platform/SharePoint)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 Months+ (will likely go long term but extended every 6 months)

Overview

We are seeking a mid‑level Microsoft Power Platform & SharePoint Support Specialist to support our growing digital workplace environment. This role is heavily focused on end‑user support, troubleshooting, and administration rather than any full‑scale development. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform tools, and CoPilot Studio, along with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and communicate clearly with users.

Key Responsibilities

  • SharePoint Online Administration & End‑User Support
    • Provide day‑to‑day support for SharePoint Online, with a strong focus on resolving end‑user issues.
    • Troubleshoot common SharePoint problems such as co‑authoring failures, sharing/permissions issues, and access challenges.
    • Manage and resolve incoming support tickets in a timely manner.
    • Create new SharePoint sites using approved templates and deliver them to requesters.
    • Support governance, best practices, and user education for SharePoint usage.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for SharePoint questions and troubleshooting.
  • Power Platform Support (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
    • Provide support and troubleshooting for Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards.
    • Diagnose issues with connectors, data sources, and environment configurations.
    • Assist in expanding Power Platform services across the organization.
    • Support users in low‑code/no‑code solution building without owning full development cycles.
  • CoPilot Studio
    • Support and maintain solutions built using CoPilot Studio.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to CoPilot integrations, prompts, and workflows.
    • Assist users in leveraging CoPilot capabilities for productivity and automation.
  • General Microsoft 365 Support
    • Provide guidance and troubleshooting across Microsoft 365 tools as needed.
    • Escalate issues requiring elevated permissions to appropriate teams.
    • Contribute to documentation, knowledge base articles, and user training materials.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online, especially in end‑user support and troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environments.
  • Ability to diagnose issues related to permissions, sharing, co‑authoring, connectors, and site functionality.
  • Customer‑focused communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Experience handling support tickets and managing multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Mid‑level experience — more advanced than entry‑level, but not requiring full development expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CoPilot Studio.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance.
  • Experience creating user documentation or training materials.
  • Exposure to low‑code/no‑code solution design.
