SFE Engineering is a leading New York City based consulting firm specializing in building energy performance, compliance, and sustainability. We work on thousands of projects annually, helping building owners navigate Local Laws such as LL84, LL87, and LL97.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist & Data Manager to support our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize company data, including project records, client databases, and internal tracking systems
• Maintain and improve data workflows using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and internal systems
• Support marketing efforts including email campaigns, outreach, and client follow-ups
• Assist in generating leads through data research and targeted marketing strategies
• Maintain CRM systems and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Coordinate with internal teams to track project pipeline and client status
• Prepare reports, summaries, and dashboards for management review
• Help streamline internal processes through automation and better data structure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, data management, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, data organization)
• Experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools preferred
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with real estate, construction, or engineering industry
• Familiarity with NYC building compliance (LL84, LL87, LL97)
• Basic knowledge of automation tools or scripting (Python, APIs, etc.)
• Experience with platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar
