Go Tickets
Job Description: Event Mapping Analyst – Data Entry (Offshore)
Location: Remote – Philippines
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time 40 hours per week
Compensation: $3.00 USD per hour
Department: Catalog Operations / Data Management
About Go Tickets
Go Tickets is a fast-growing ticketing marketplace connecting fans across the United States with live events including concerts, sports, theater, and more. We work with brokers nationwide to bring the best inventory to our customers. Our catalog team is the backbone of our platform, ensuring every event is accurately represented and easy to find.
Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly accurate Event Mapping Analyst to join our offshore catalog operations team based in the Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for manually reviewing event listings submitted by ticket brokers from across the United States and accurately mapping them into the Go Tickets master event catalogue. Your work directly impacts the customer experience, so precision, consistency, and a strong understanding of American entertainment culture are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually review incoming event listings submitted by US-based ticket brokers
- Accurately map broker event data to the correct corresponding event in the Go Tickets master catalogue
- Match events based on artist/team name, venue, city, date, and time with a high degree of accuracy
- Identify and flag duplicate, ambiguous, or unrecognizable event listings for supervisor review
- Research unfamiliar events, artists, or sports teams using approved reference tools to ensure correct mapping
- Maintain a consistent and high-volume output while upholding quality standards
- Communicate clearly with team leads regarding discrepancies or mapping uncertainties
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and style guidelines
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets
Required Qualifications
- Excellent English reading and writing skills – near-native fluency is required; all communications and data are in English
- Strong working knowledge of American music (genres, artists, tours, venues) and/or American sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, college sports, etc.)
- Exceptional attention to detail – ability to distinguish between similar event names, dates, venues, and artists
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy
- Comfortable working with online data entry platforms, spreadsheets, and internal tools
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle repetitive data tasks without sacrificing quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in data entry, catalog management, or ticketing/entertainment industry
- Familiarity with major US concert venues, sports arenas, and touring artists
- Experience working with US-based companies in a remote capacity
- Knowledge of both American music and American sports is a strong plus
What We're Looking For (Culture Fit)
We need someone who genuinely knows their stuff when it comes to American entertainment. If you can tell the difference between a Taylor Swift arena tour stop and a tribute band performing at a local theater — or know that the Lakers play at Crypto.com Arena and not Madison Square Garden — you'll thrive in this role. Accuracy is everything. One wrong mapping affects real customers buying real tickets.
Work Schedule
- Shifts available to align with US business hours (preference given to candidates available during Eastern or Central Time business hours)
- Flexible scheduling options may be available based on performance and team needs
Compensation & Benefits
- $3.00 USD per hour
- Consistent and reliable remote work
- Opportunity for advancement within the catalog operations team
- Performance-based recognition and feedback
- Work with a growing US-based ticketing company
