Summary

Chicago-based e-commerce retailer seeking an ambitious, self-motivated, and data-driven entry-level candidate to join our team as an Amazon Associate Brand Manager / Pricing Analyst. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in e-commerce, analytics, and brand management.

The Associate Brand Manager will have the opportunity to join a multi-brand consumer e-commerce platform, backed by Skybox Capital, in a lean startup environment where they will be given a significant amount of responsibility and will be expected to provide valuable insights and contribute to value creation initiatives from day one.

The company has developed a portfolio of leading multi-million-dollar private label consumer brands and established itself amongst the most experienced sellers of private label consumer goods on Amazon. Building on Skybox Capital’s track record of successful brand development and funded by tech entrepreneurs who have created billion-dollar enterprises, the company is gearing up to rapidly gain share in its industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust e-commerce prices to optimize inventory sell-through and ROI in alignment with company goals and objectives
• Collect and analyze data on market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behavior to inform pricing decisions
• Assist in developing and documenting data-based, repeatable pricing strategies
• Build and maintain pricing and sell-through reports, presenting insights to management on a weekly basis
• Collaborate with marketing, content, sourcing, and other cross-functional team members to maximize success of each brand
• Utilize data analytics tools to proactively identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities
• Gain hands-on experience with Amazon and other marketplace best practices
• Support the development process for new products from research through launch execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field is preferred
• Strong analytical, data-driven skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with attention to detail
• Internship or entry-level experience in data analysis, trading, or competitive pricing; exposure to e-commerce is a plus
• Intermediate level Microsoft Excel experience (comfortable with formulas and data analysis)
• Experience with PowerBI or other business intelligence systems is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in problem-solving, process improvement, and value creation
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and within a team environment
