Distribution Associate II / Forklift 

Hiring a distribution Forklift Associate with e xperience with large pallets. You will be loading AC Units the size of small automobiles with a forklift onto flatbed trucks and performing general shipping / receiving duties to facilitate orders. 

• Experience with forklift loading large pallets. You will be loading AC Units the size of automobiles onto flatbed trucks.

POSITION: Contract to Hire
PAY RATE: $20.00hr
HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M- F
LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT 84104

DUTIES: 

• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Drug Test and Background Check
• Steel Toe Boots
• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Forklift experience with a good track record of successfully loading and unloading dry van and flatbed trucks
• RF Scanner experience (SAP)
• Desk top computer experience (Word, Excel, MS Teams, email)
• Detail oriented
• Punctual – Reliable transportation
• Self-motivated
• Customer centric (external and internal)
• Personable (work well in a small group)
