DISTRIBUTION OFFICE SUPPORT CLERK II - BILINGUAL
Staff Perm is hiring an Office Support Clerk to assist with processes, logs and paperwork within a distribution shipping and receiving office for a large distribution organization. Under general direction, provides clerical support to the Regional Distribution Center. Develops and maintains logs, reports, audits, controls and applicable metrics in order to avoid picking and shipping errors. Experience reviewing Bill Of Lading (BOL) receipt of freight.
LOCATION: Miami, FL 33166
HOURS: 7:30-4:30 M-F
- Coordinates and maintains safety training, documentation, communication and postings to ensure corporate and OSHA compliance.
- Ensures and records the accurate arrival, duration and departure of inbound activity; notifies management of any imminent or potential detention charges and resolves issues or variations with the inbound documentation.
- Provides timely customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Initiates any inbound vendor or in-transit freight claims and actions related to any serial number deviations.
- Carries out any supporting activities, including determining disposition of damaged product.
- Monitors non-conformance in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, packaging, vendor cross-reference or UPC issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Requires at least 2 years related experience.
- Bill Of Lading (BOL) knowledge
- Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual - English / Spanish preferred
- Must have computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Prefer experience using SAP
