Sunbury Motor Company is seeking an experienced used car buyer to join our team. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of purchasing high-quality inventory and strong market knowledge. There are no restrictions and no cap as to what you can spend if you are buying the right cars at the right price

Responsibilities:

• Purchasing pre-owned vehicles from local auctions
• Souring used car inventory through online platforms
• Work closely with management and the reconditioning department to ensure purchased vehicles meet inventory needs and arbitrate purchases quickly and efficiently if need be

Qualifications:

• Previous experience purchasing used vehicles for a dealership(s) is required
• Strong understanding of vehicle values, market trends, and wholesale pricing
• Experience using valuation tools such as vAuto, MMR, Black Book, or similar platforms is preferred
• Ability to accurately assess vehicle condition and estimate reconditioning costs

Compensation:

• $700/wk guaranteed base pay
• Percentage of net profit on used vehicles sold
  • Note: the more used cars you buy, the more used cars we sell, the more money you make
