Irrigation Estimator – Local Perth Company

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an Irrigation Estimator to join our team, supporting a range of irrigation projects from consultation through to installation. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.

Hours: Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret irrigation plans, project documentation, and bills of quantities to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, including issuing requests for quotes and evaluating submissions.
• Prepare detailed pricing, take-offs, and tender packages for projects.
• Ensure all estimates meet project requirements including budgets, safety, quality, and technical specifications.
• Support the handover of projects to the construction team once tenders are approved.
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules, resource allocation, and construction methodology documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in irrigation, construction estimating, or related administration roles.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Exposure to CAD or other technical drawing software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
