Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Retail Sales Advisor to join our team for the Nottinghamshire area. Cover maybe required between Mansfield, Sutton in Ashfield, Arnold, Sherwood
Store Opening Hours:
Monday – Saturday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
This position offers a minimum 20-hour contract and requires flexibility. Some shifts will involve lone working. Successful applicants must be willing to travel and complete training at a nearby hub store, as well as attend a one-day induction at our head office in Stockport.
As a Retail Sales Advisor, you will represent the business on the high street, ensuring sales performance, customer service, and store standards consistently meet and exceed expectations. Using your product knowledge and enthusiasm, you will work towards achieving KPIs while delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will also help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive sales and achieve or exceed KPIs
· Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation
· Manage stock levels and report any issues to the Store Manager
· Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and community engagement initiatives
· Provide cover across regional stores when required
· Ensure all health, safety, and security standards are followed
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years’ retail experience
· Strong background in sales, merchandising, and customer service
· Ability to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts
· Capability to handle and move items up to 15kg
· Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use ladders or step stools while stocking merchandise and assisting customers
Schedule
Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required
Location: Mansfield/Nottinghamshire Area
Expected Start Date: April/May
