We are hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer (US Healthcare Interoperability - Remote) to work on projects for healthcare insurance clients in the US, so excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. 
 

Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer (US Healthcare Interoperability - Remote)
Location: Remote
Working Hours: 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related.
Preferred certifications: AZ-104, AZ-303/305, AZ-400, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional (any combination is a plus).

 

Who are you?

Cloud-Native DevOps Specialist:

  • Hands-on expertise in both Azure and AWS ecosystems, including compute, networking, identity, and managed services.
  • Deep practical experience implementing, scaling, and maintaining AKS and EKS clusters in production.

Healthcare Compliance Aware:

  • Familiar with HIPAA, HITRUST, data encryption requirements, PHI handling, audit logging, and healthcare infrastructure best practices.
  • Experience working with clients or systems in the US healthcare domain is a strong plus.

Automation-First Engineer

  • Strong background in IaC (Terraform / Bicep / CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automated environment provisioning.
  • Comfortable building secure, observable, resilient production systems.

Problem Solver & Collaborator

  • Able to work closely with distributed engineering teams, architects, and client stakeholders.
  • Communicates clearly, takes ownership, and thrives in fast-paced project environments.

 

What you will be doing?

1. Cloud Infrastructure Engineering (Azure + AWS)

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for healthcare and enterprise clients across both platforms.
  • Build secure architectures aligned with healthcare compliance and TG best practices.
  • Configure and optimise cloud networking, VPC/VNet architectures, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.

2. Kubernetes (AKS & EKS) End-to-End Ownership

  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for microservices, APIs, and AI workloads.
  • Configure autoscaling, Ingress, service mesh, secrets management, and cluster-level security.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, etc.

3. CI/CD & DevOps Automation

  • Build and maintain pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
  • Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or FluxCD.
  • Automate multi-environment deployments for web, mobile, backend, and AI-based systems.

4. Security & Compliance

  • Implement secure-by-default cloud practices: encryption, IAM, network segmentation, vulnerability scanning, and audit trails.
  • Ensure infrastructure meets compliance expectations for US healthcare: HIPAA, SOC, HITRUST-ready architectures.
  • Work with engineering teams to embed security into the SDLC.

5. Observability, Reliability, and Operations

  • Build enterprise-grade monitoring, logging, and incident response frameworks.
  • Conduct capacity planning, disaster recovery, and performance optimisation.
  • Support client releases and production operations with clear runbooks and SLIs/SLOs.
