TKO StaffPros, LLC is looking for an Inventory Control Manager to join one of our client's dedicated Manufacturing team in the Monroe County area. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to oversee and optimize inventory management processes in a fast-paced warehousing environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily inventory concerning cycle counting, inventory reconciliation and system inquiries.   Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory systems, implementing best practices, and leading initiatives to reduce costs while improving service levels. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily inventory operations and manage inventory control staff
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure alignment
  • Prepare reports on inventory performance and trends
  • Train and mentor team members on inventory best practices
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and or 5 years of previous Supervisory/Mgmt. duties in a distribution environment, such as logistics or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control systems and methodologies
  • Proficiency in AS400 and MS Office Suite (Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, strong people to people skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Scholar in Math and the ability to work independently, multi-task, and with general guidelines
