Production Supervisor – Rubber Manufacturing Facility (Olive Branch, MS)
Full-Time On-Site Leadership Role
We’re seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a background in rubber manufacturing to lead daily operations in our Olive Branch facility. This role is ideal for someone who understands rubber mixing, dosing, extrusion, and testing processes and can drive safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
As the Production Supervisor, you’ll oversee the full production process and ensure your team meets safety, quality, and output goals. Responsibilities include:
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, organize, and motivate production staff across multiple work areas
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members on proper work instructions
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new hires
- Maintain strong communication between employees and management
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Enforce all safety standards and escalate concerns when necessary
- Ensure production follows all quality procedures and specifications
- Conduct regular inspections and audits across Mixing, Dosing, Extrusion, Straining, and Calendaring
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Production Oversight
- Prioritize and schedule tasks to meet production goals
- Monitor raw material flow to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operations
- Verify proper labeling, scanning, and staging of materials
- Oversee packaging quality and compliance
- Support continuous improvement through KPI tracking and process analysis
Quality Control & Testing
- Ensure required tests (MDR, Scorch, Viscosity, etc.) are completed and meet specifications
- Escalate any non-conforming results to management
- Manage non-conforming materials, documentation, and reprocessing

What You Bring
- Rubber manufacturing experience is required
- Experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of machinery in Mixing, Dosing, and Extrusion areas
- Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment (MDR, Mooney, etc.)
- Understanding of raw material flow and product requirements
- Ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and maximize team productivity
- Solid understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements
