Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Production Workers to assemble individual parts into more complex components. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and strong manual dexterity. The ideal candidate will be able to read and follow instructions from manuals, drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure all components meet quality and safety standards. The goal of this position is to produce high-quality finished products by accurately assembling smaller components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and components using hands, tools, and machinery with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure all assembled components meet quality standards and specifications
  • Read and interpret work instructions, manuals, drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Perform essential job duties requiring standing for extended periods, with occasional squatting or bending, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally unassisted; lift up to 75 lbs with assistance, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, policies, and rules of conduct at all times
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
  • Work in an environment with limited climate control (fans and heat only), subject to seasonal temperatures
  • May be exposed to fiberglass, fiberglass dust, machine coolant, forklift traffic, and truck traffic depending on department
  • Work overtime and weekends as required, with consideration for applicable religious or disability-related accommodations
  • Reliably report to the work location for all scheduled shifts

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an assembler or production worker
  • Technical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Experience using hand tools (e.g., clamps) and machinery (e.g., presses)
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
