Structural Welder / Fitter
Location: Fulton, MS
Pay Rate: $18.50 – $27.75 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Structural Welder / Fitter to join our growing team in Fulton, MS. This role is responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel and metal components according to detailed project specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication skills, experience with multiple welding processes, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Flux Core (FCAW), Solid Core, MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on structural steel and various metal materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications to ensure precise assembly and weld quality.
- Fit, align, and assemble structural components according to project requirements.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, grinders, press brakes, and other shop machinery.
- Measure, inspect, and verify material dimensions using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
- Assist with material handling and movement of components using forklifts, cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication and welding process to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Structural Welder, Fitter, Fabricator, or related role in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.
- Proficiency in Flux Core, Solid Core, MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Solid understanding of fabrication techniques and metalworking practices.
- Experience working with structural steel, heavy fabrication, pipe fitting, or ductwork is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of ASME codes, welding procedures, and industry standards is a plus.
- Strong mathematical and measuring skills with attention to detail.

Work Location
This position is based in Fulton, MS and requires on-site work. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to or relocate to the area prior to employment.
