Job Summary

Vupico is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst Specialist to join our fully remote analytics team. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets to deliver actionable insights that drive key business decisions. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, visualize performance metrics, and optimize data-driven strategies.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in modern data tools — capable of turning numbers into meaningful stories that guide business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

Analyze data trends and generate insights to support business decisions across departments.

Translate complex data into clear visualizations and executive summaries.

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.

Collaborate with teams in marketing, operations, product, and finance to meet data needs.

Support automation, data warehousing, and process improvement initiatives.

Ensure data governance standards and security compliance are upheld.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Specialist, or in a similar analytics role.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).

Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Solid understanding of data structures, KPIs, and statistical analysis methods.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects while working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.

Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery).

Understanding of business intelligence, automation tools, and API data integration.

Experience in a SaaS, technology, or consulting environment.

Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
