Job Summary

Vupico is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our growing hybrid technology team in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications that power Vupico’s core business operations and client solutions.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver who enjoys working on both front-end and back-end development, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building clean, efficient, and high-performing software.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable applications.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for speed and scalability.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.

Maintain and integrate APIs and third-party services as needed.

Document technical processes, architecture, and user workflows.

Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and functionality.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in software development.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js, React), C#, or Java.

Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs).

Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and version control (Git).

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment (onsite collaboration + remote flexibility).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.

Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

Experience integrating with CRM or enterprise systems.
