We are excited to invite professional bilingual linguists to join our team as Translators for an upcoming 3-month project (with potential for extension based on project needs).

In this role, you will contribute directly to an upcoming speech translation supervised fine-tuning project (Indonesian ⇆ Chinese). 

Scope of Work:

 · Speech segmentation and audio clipping

 · Timestamp proofreading and sentence segmentation

 · Bilingual translation (Indonesian ⇆ Chinese)

 · Term extraction and glossary creation

Project Details:

Job Title: Translator

Pay Rate: ~ USD $9.00/hour

Location: Remote (Must be based in Indonesia; applicants from Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macao are not eligible)

Schedule: 25-35 hours per week; 3-month project duration

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contractor

Requirements:

 · Professional fluency in both Indonesian and Mandarin Chinese

 · Must be located in Indonesia for at least 5 years

 · Previous experience with translation, transcription, or bilingual QA work preferred

 · Ability to follow project conventions and client rules in English

 · Strong understanding of linguistic nuances across Indonesian and Chinese

 · Availability for full-time work over the 3-month engagement
