Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the QA team to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
Execute test cases, identify defects, and accurately document the test results for various software applications.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the software's stability and reliability.
Learn to use various testing tools and frameworks to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.
Participate in test automation activities and assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
Work closely with the development team to communicate and resolve identified issues in a timely manner.
Assist in continuous improvement efforts to optimize the quality assurance process.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle and software testing concepts.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow test cases precisely.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report software defects.
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the QA team and development team.
Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the field of software testing and quality assurance.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with software testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or TestRail.
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) to support test automation efforts.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies and their impact on testing.
Internship or academic projects related to software testing and QA will be a plus.
