This job allows you to work REMOTELY, with periodic travel as needed, upto 55% of the time.  Must live within theHouston, TX metropolian area and be able to work remotely from a home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Innovate and Design: Lead the design and development of advanced machinery and mechanical equipment tailored to client specifications, ensuring top-tier safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Optimize Performance: Analyze and enhance existing equipment, identifying opportunities for improvement to maximize output and minimize downtime.
  • Create Technical Blueprints: Produce precise drawings and blueprints using industry-leading CAD tools, setting the foundation for seamless production.
  • Prototype and Test: Build and rigorously test prototypes to validate designs, guaranteeing compliance with stringent quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with cross-functional teams—including engineers, project managers, and stakeholders—to achieve project milestones on time and within budget.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry research to integrate innovative solutions into your work.
  • Problem-Solve Proactively: Deliver timely, creative resolutions to mechanical design challenges, fostering continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the mobile heavy equipment machinery industry.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of thriving in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and best practices.
