As a Locum NP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patient health across a diverse range of family medicine cases. You will collaborate closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients, making a meaningful impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Experience in Family Medicine or primary care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Any active, unrestricted U.S. license accepted
Must be board-certified
